Zone 2 — Greater Bay Area
Zone 3 — Extended Bay Area
Zone 4 — Northern California
Zone 5 — West Coast Extended
Our Fleet
Fleet Specifications
We operate a purpose-built fleet designed specifically for IBC transport. Every vehicle is equipped with the loading gear needed to handle containers safely and efficiently, regardless of your facility's loading infrastructure.
26-ft Box Truck with Liftgate
Capacity: 4-8 IBCs
Hydraulic liftgate rated for 3,000 lbs, allowing ground-level loading and unloading without a dock. Enclosed cargo area protects containers from weather during transit. Equipped with pallet jack, ratchet straps, and load bars. Ideal for small to medium deliveries and residential or retail locations without loading docks.
Best for: Small orders, locations without docks, mixed deliveries with multiple stops
48-ft Flatbed Truck
Capacity: 16-20 IBCs
Open-deck flatbed allows side-loading and top-loading with forklifts. Containers are secured with ratchet straps and edge protectors. Can accommodate double-stacked empty IBCs for maximum efficiency on large orders. Requires forklift access or dock-height loading at both origin and destination.
Best for: Large orders, warehouse-to-warehouse, facilities with forklift access
Straight Truck with Forklift
Capacity: 10-14 IBCs
Medium-duty truck with a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Princeton type). The forklift rides on the back of the truck and dismounts at the delivery site for self-unloading. Eliminates the need for customer-side forklift or dock. Most versatile vehicle in our fleet.
Best for: Medium orders, construction sites, farms, locations with uneven terrain
Sprinter Van / Small Box Truck
Capacity: 1-3 IBCs
Compact delivery vehicle for small orders and urgent single-unit deliveries. Manual loading with pallet jack. Lower delivery cost for small quantities. Available for same-day rush delivery within Zone 1.
Best for: Single-unit deliveries, rush orders, tight-access locations
Loading
Loading & Unloading Requirements
We've designed our fleet and crew training to handle virtually any loading situation. Here's what you need to know to prepare for a smooth delivery or pickup.
- Dock-height loading — fastest and most efficient method. If your facility has a standard 48-inch loading dock, our flatbed trucks can back right up and we'll use a pallet jack or forklift to slide IBCs on or off.
- Ground-level (liftgate) — our box trucks carry hydraulic liftgates rated for 3,000 lbs. The liftgate lowers each IBC to ground level where it can be rolled into position with a pallet jack. No dock needed.
- Forklift on-truck — for sites with uneven terrain, gravel yards, or no paved surface, our truck-mounted forklift can place IBCs exactly where you need them.
- Access requirements — a minimum of 10 feet of overhead clearance for box trucks and 12 feet for flatbeds. Road surface should support vehicle weight (26,000-80,000 lbs GVWR depending on vehicle).
Scheduling
Scheduling & Tracking
Standard scheduling:Deliveries are scheduled 2-3 business days out. We offer two time windows: morning (7am-12pm) and afternoon (12pm-5pm). You'll receive a confirmation with your scheduled window and driver contact information.
Same-day and next-day rush: Available within Zone 1 and Zone 2 for an expedited fee. Call before 10am for same-day availability. Next-day requests made by 3pm are almost always accommodated.
Real-time tracking:Every delivery vehicle is GPS-tracked. On the day of delivery, you'll receive a text or email with a live tracking link showing your truck's location and estimated arrival time, updated every 5 minutes.
Weekend and after-hours: Saturday morning deliveries are available by request. After-hours and Sunday deliveries can be arranged for time-sensitive operations at a premium rate.
Special Handling
Hazmat & Special Cargo
Transporting IBCs that contain or previously contained hazardous materials requires additional care, documentation, and regulatory compliance. Our drivers are trained and certified for hazmat transport in accordance with 49 CFR requirements.
- CDL with Hazmat endorsement — all drivers operating hazmat loads carry the appropriate license and have completed DOT-mandated hazmat training.
- Proper placarding — we ensure all vehicles are correctly placarded per DOT requirements for the hazard class being transported.
- Shipping papers — we prepare or verify shipping papers, emergency response information, and SDS documentation for every hazmat shipment.
- Spill kits — every vehicle carrying hazmat loads is equipped with a DOT-approved spill kit matched to the hazard class being transported.
- Route compliance — we follow designated hazmat routes and avoid tunnels, bridges, and restricted areas as required by local and state regulations.
Insurance
Insurance & Liability Coverage
All IBC shipments on our vehicles are covered by comprehensive cargo insurance. In the unlikely event that containers are damaged during loading, transit, or unloading, our insurance covers the replacement value.
- Cargo insurance — up to $100,000 per load, covering damage or loss of containers during transit.
- General liability — $2 million per occurrence, covering property damage or bodily injury during loading and unloading operations at your facility.
- Auto liability — $1 million per occurrence for all commercial vehicles in our fleet.
- Pollution liability — additional coverage for hazmat loads in the event of a spill or environmental release during transport.
Certificates of insurance are provided upon request. If your facility requires us to add your company as an additional insured, we can process that within 24 hours.
Multi-Stop
Multi-Stop Delivery
Need IBCs delivered to multiple locations on the same run? Our multi-stop service lets you split a single order across two or more addresses within the same delivery zone. This is ideal for companies with satellite facilities or for coordinated deliveries to partner sites.
Multi-stop deliveries are priced at a flat base rate plus a per-stop fee that varies by zone. Stops are sequenced by our route-optimization software to minimize drive time and fuel consumption. Maximum of 4 stops per run within Zone 1 and 2.
Fuel Policy
Fuel Surcharge Policy
To maintain transparent and fair pricing despite diesel fuel price volatility, we apply a fuel surcharge that adjusts monthly based on the U.S. DOE national average diesel price.
- No surcharge when diesel is at or below the baseline rate of $3.50/gallon
- 1% surcharge added for every $0.10 above baseline
- Surcharge is published on the 1st of each month and applies to all deliveries that month
- Contract customers may lock in fuel surcharge caps as part of their agreement
Preparation
Delivery Preparation Checklist
To ensure a smooth and efficient delivery, please prepare the following before our truck arrives:
- Clear the delivery area of obstructions — allow 15ft x 15ft per 4 IBCs being placed
- Confirm overhead clearance (minimum 10ft for box trucks, 12ft for flatbeds)
- Ensure ground surface is firm and level (paved, concrete, or compacted gravel)
- Have someone available to sign the delivery receipt and inspect containers
- If using your own forklift, have it staged and an operator available at delivery time
- For gated facilities, provide gate code or ensure a guard is notified of the delivery
- Communicate any weight restrictions on private roads or bridges to our dispatcher
Sustainability
Low-Emission Commitment
Route Optimization
Every delivery run is planned using route-optimization software that groups nearby stops, minimizes empty miles, and reduces total fuel consumption by up to 30%. We consolidate partial loads where possible to maximize truck utilization on every trip.
Clean Vehicles
Our fleet meets CARB (California Air Resources Board) emission standards. We are actively transitioning to compressed natural gas and electric vehicles as models become available for heavy loads. Our newest box trucks run on CNG with 40% lower emissions than diesel.
Carbon Tracking
We track and report the carbon footprint of every delivery. Business customers receive quarterly emission reports to support their own sustainability goals and ESG reporting. We calculate emissions based on actual fuel consumed, not estimates.
